As
in most of central North Carolina, the Raleigh area enjoys
four distinct seasons each year. Average temperatures range
from the low forties in January to the low eighties in July.
Spring and fall are beautiful, averaging around the mid
sixties. Temperature variations between night and day tend
to be moderate during summer and winter, with an average
of less than twenty degrees.
Annual
average precipitation is approximately forty-six inches,
and is fairly evenly distributed throughout the year.
